♥ April Favorites ~ Daily Essentials ♥

I haven't been using much of products in the month of April, i was busy packing and unpacking and worried least about what i want to try or finish!! That said i kept all my essentials handy which i need on a regular basis. Today's post is such one, am showing you in worst cases (read super busy) what i use most and what i reach out to ~

1. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo 

Its one thing i can't live without at the moment. I did manage to re-purchase (thanks to Slassy.com) but am like always worried if i need to re-stock just incase, LOL. I first purchased this in February and since then am hooked to it. And this one tops the most favorite products in Daily Essentials.

2. Garnier BB Cream

This is my favorite BB Cream so far. I use it regularly and i quite like the way it blends into my skin. Easy to use and super cheap, its one thing i can carry around when on travel and not worry about foundation at all. Best part of this one is, its like second skin and really suits Indian Skin tone. Its quite build-able too. I just layer it a little more if am stepping out for that medium to full coverage. 

3. Konad Niju Girl Black Curling Pretty Doll Eyes Mascara

I know you must be wondering, mascara in daily essentials?? Yes, this is the best mascara i got so far. It gives a doll eyes look and i simply can't resist reaching out for this always when i have L'Oreal and Colorbar too in the stash. Most worn, this is my favorite any day.

4. Maybelline Baby Lips in Berry Crush

I simply adore this lipbalm. It gives that color and makes lips hydrated and soft. Its a savior when i don't have time to decide which color lipstick i want to wear, LOL. Especially when i want my look to be as simple as possible and still look great to step out in confidence.

5. Oriflame Nail Food

I have particularly very dry cuticles in any given season. I believe its due to the constant washing of hands with the soap and doing household chores. While i slap on a little moisturizer every now and then, end of the day a brush of this does the trick. Undoubtedly my favorite for the care of dry cuticles.

♥ Dupe Alert ~ Mango Striped Top for Forever21 Chiffon Back Striped Top ♥

Many of you loved the Chiffon Back Striped Top i got from Forever21. And all the Indian readers were not too happy as Forever21 had no shipping to India. So here i am with a Dupe of the same Top i wore here. Well the pic had no shots of this top in all the angles (i promise to do that next time), it looked something like this. While the Forever21 Top is $17.80 which is 977 INR, Mango Top is 1790 INR. Though the Dupe is quite good, its quite pricey. And i love the Forever21 Top for its Sheer Chiffon back which the Mango Top isn't.

That said, hope you liked to find the dupe for the F21 top.

♥ April Fashion Favorites ♥

I have been wanting to do a post on non-beauty favorites lately and show you what i loved most wearing in that particular month. Like you have seen, there are some noticeable changes happening here on Lipgloss Affairs and there are many more to come. So i hope you stay around, see and leave your feedback on what you like. That would certainly help me doing posts you'd love to read.

And coming back, here are few things i have been obsessing over and worn alot in April ~

Taurus Top from Jabong

I absolutely love this top i bought from Taurus @ Jabong. Wore it for first time for the Max Event and since then i have been finding reasons to wear it often.... LOL ^.^
I paired it with a Cotton Jeans i bought at Shoppersstop earlier from the brand called Vibe (or vibes). After looking at the pics i realised a slim fit jeans or jeggings would have done justice. Well i have these Coral color slim fit jeans from Kraus i bought from Myntra. I have already tried it and it looks awesome!! Just that i would be looking like a walking talking copycat of the model whose pic is on Jabong (uhh ok just that she is much modelesque....)
Unfortunately this top is currently out of stock, but you can buy similar style in different color here or similar pattern print but in different style here

Tassle Necklace from GoFavor

I adore this necklace i got from GoFavor. It was sent for my review and i seriously can't thank enough the team at GoFavor for sending me this across. One of the most worn necklaces in April and i guess am gonna continue finding a way to wear this more often.

Rose Print Sunglasses from Forever21

I so love this pair of sunglasses from Forever21. The Rose print on cream background makes it look so much vintage-y and so retro chic. Though i might not wear this more often now (Summer is coming to an end here in India), this is an absolute darling to me right now. It sure did make heads turn and this is the only pair i have worn in this whole month (uh okay i have aanother 4 pairs of Sunnies apart from this one)

Coral Pink Pumps from Max Fashions

Comfy and stylish, these pumps in coral surely appeals to every eye. I have been wearing these almost all the time i have gone out (if am not wearing my beige sandals from Clarks). I find these easy to wear and go around in Summer than opting for any kinda of Sandals in this season. Its been like super hot in India this time and these pumps were my savior. With these i was not compromising on the style and being comfortable too at same time. 

Danglers from Dressberry, Myntra

These are huge, dramatic and very very colorful. One of the best danglers i picked up recently. I simply love to wear these with my simple tunics to add that oomph.
